Young Adult Ministry

Let the next step on your faith journey be with the Young Adult Ministry at First Colony Church of Christ! Whether you are looking for a new church home, wanting to begin a relationship with Jesus Christ, or desiring to deepen your relationship with the Lord, we invite you to join us as we build a community of young adults who love God, love people and teach others to do the same. We are dedicated to creating a healthy community for all young adults, whether single or married, so anyone in their 20s to early 30s (or who feels like they are in their 20s to early 30s!) is welcome to participate as we encounter, explore, and enjoy a life together in community with God and each other.

Young Adults Vision Statement
Our vision is to become a loving community of disciples who love God by deepening our intimacy and devotion to Him, love people through developing relationships and serving our neighbors, and who teach others to also live in this way.

How Do I Get Involved?

1. Join a small group
Small groups are one of the best way to experience Christian community.  These groups meet together regularly to share a meal, connect on a personal level, pray, study the scriptures, and build community together. Small groups meet different times of the week and different locations all over Houston. If you would like to join a group or if you are interested in starting a small group, contact Grant Wright

2. Come to class
On Sunday mornings, young adults are given the opportunity to connect through Bible class.  Class is a great opportunity to hear new ideas and engage in discussion centered around the Bible and its application to daily life.  For more information about these classes, click here.

3. Events
Weekly and special events provide the young adults with times to reach out to the community, serve each other, and to establish relationships through service projects, game nights, team sports, concerts and Bible studies.
