2010 Leadership Training for Christ (LTC) for 3rd - 6th Grade

Leadership Training for Christ (LTC) is a program designed to develop leaders & equip children to serve in the kingdom of God.  3rd - 6th graders at FCCC participate in a variety of classes & activities throughout the fall & spring that help them prepare for the LTC Convention.  Children may also prepare for other events independently.  LTC culminates with a convention at the Houston George R. Brown Convention Center on Easter Weekend, April 2-3, 2010.  Events are judged & the participants will receive a bronze, silver or gold award on a plaque at a celebration after the convention.

The theme for this year's LTC is "The Rock" & covers the book of II Samuel.  FCCC sponsors the following events (for information about all LTC events, go to www.ctltc.net):

• Fall - Video Bible Drama, Express Yourself, Service, Bible Class Teaching, Christian Art
• Spring - Bible Bowl, Chorus, Sign Language, Scrapbooking
• All the Time - Scripture Challenge

All 3rd - 6th graders are invited to join the classes on Wednesday nights & we encourage families to take this opportunity to study together & reinforce what is covered in class.  Family involvement is critical for the overall success of the LTC program, especially a the convention.  Parent volunteers are needed in class, at practices & event judging at the convention.

• Wednesday nights - Bible Bowl Classes in the C-Wing, 7:00 - 8:00 PM
• January 24th, February 21st & March 28th - Bible Bowl Blasts
• February 10th - Registration Deadline
• March 6th - Scrapbooking Day
• April 2nd & 3rd - LTC Convention
• April 7th - Awards & Celebration 
• February 21st & 28th, March 7th, 21st & 28th - Tentative Dates for Chorus & Sign Language Rehearsals

Deadline to sign up for LTC is Wednesday, February 10th.  You can pick up registration packets at the Registration Kiosk across from the FCCC Chapel or download by clicking each form listed below.

Good Friday Service

There will be a Good Friday Service at 7 p.m., April 2, in the Worship Center.  This is a special opportunity to solemnly reflect on the death of Jesus Christ on the cross.
