First Colony Campus
GROW with us as Dr. Houston Heflin, ACU professor and expert in the spiritual formation of adolescents, offers practical tips and tricks on how you can lead your students spiritually on a daily basis. This two-part course includes:

Session 1
9:30 - 10:45am | D242
Nurturing Faith Through Rebellion

Following Jesus is a rebellion against the messages taught by the world. Parents and other Christian adults still have the opportunity to be the greatest influence in the lives of youth when it comes to faith. We'll share ideas in this session about how to nurture faith in adolescents.
Note: Audio available for download for those attending Foster Creek service. Classes do not have to be taken in succession.

Session 2 | The Gym
12:00 - 1:30pm | Lunch Included
Tools of Cultural Disobedience

We visit the armory together in this session by looking at all the tools and resources at our disposal to accomplish our goals of forming disciples of Jesus. A host of resources will be shared that you can use to help the adolescents you love, grow in spiritual maturity.
