Prayer Support

At First Colony Church of Christ, we believe in the power of prayer, and there are several ways you can submit a prayer request or pray together with our shepherding elders and prayer leaders.

  • Pray with a shepherding elder at the close of Sunday morning worship services
  • Meet with a prayer leader or elder during Wednesday Night Prayer (7:00pm Wednesdays).

  • We have many different Small Groups that meet regularly for encouragement, Bible study, and fellowship. Having consistent fellowship with others in community is a vital part of our Christian walk, and it can be such a blessing during times of struggle, pain or crisis.

Christian Counselors

A Christian counselor can help us when we experience some of life’s most difficult struggles. They are perhaps most helpful as a sounding board to help us “spot the lies” that we have believed or told ourselves, or as a “referee” for a difficult relationship situation. They can help us get out of an unhealthy rut or see our way forward when we’ve been wounded, hurt, or stuck. All the counseling centers below have been used by many of our church members and have been vetted by our pastoral care staff.
