Dr. Rubel Shelly will help us kick off the new year.  Rubel is the Distinguished Professor of Religion and Philosophy at Lipscomb University.  He is a prolific author, a former university president, a former senior minister, and an internationally honored theologian. He will speak in both services at 8:30am and 11:00am and to a combined adult class at 9:45am.  His sermon topic is “The Assurance of Faith” and his class topic is “Why Atheists are So Angry.”
