Baptism Class

Sunday, March 17, 2024, 9:45 AM - 10:45 AM

About the Event

Baptism is a beautiful, biblical faith response to the grace given to us through Christ. In baptism, we identify with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus - it's a physical picture of a spiritual reality. If you haven't been baptized, we would love to see you at our baptism class on Sunday, March 17 at 9:45am in the New Here Start Here room located in the lobby.

In this baptism class, we will discuss the Bible’s teaching on baptism and why it’s an important God-given sacrament. Led by Connections Minister Shane Gage, this class is meant for anyone interested in being baptized, or for those who have questions or would like further study. We will explore the who, when, and how of biblical baptism – and the why. The Bible teaches that by the grace of God, when we are baptized our sins are forgiven and we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38). What a blessing it is to be raised with Christ, to walk in newness of life as we follow Him!

“We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.”
- Romans 6:4
