The Bible

1 Timothy 3:16-17

Have your child/children read Psalms 119:105.
Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.

In Action
Now give your children a flashlight and the same allotted time. See if they can gather more money with “light.”

Ask the following questions:

  • How is God’s word like a light?
  • Are some lights brighter than others?
  • If you were in extreme darkness, would you want a really bright light or a really dim light?
  • If you were in extreme darkness, would you want a really bright light or a really dim light?
