Membership at First Colony
Membership is a great way to get connected at First Colony. Although you don’t have to be a member to attend our church, membership allows us to know you, care for you, and support you and your family — especially when you need it most.
Baptism & Membership
Baptism by immersion is one of our requirements for membership, though it is not required that you be baptized at First Colony. If you have not been baptized, we would love to talk with you about why we value baptism.
What We Ask of Members
We ask our members to follow Jesus, attend, serve, support, give, and resolve conflict biblically. We believe these biblical values enable us to maintain a unified and healthy church.
Placing Your Membership
Step 1
Attend a New Member Info Session. Info sessions are offered regularly throughout the year on Sunday mornings. Come learn what it means to be a member and the next steps to take.
Attend a New Member Info Session Step 2
Once you have attended a New Member Info Session and are ready to place membership, complete the Membership Form.
Membership Form Step 3
Our church staff and elders will follow up with you to answer questions, pray with you, and make plans to announce your membership.
